WWE fans are excitedly gearing up for the 38th annual Royal Rumble, which will take place on Saturday, February 1, in Indianapolis.
Gambling.com have created markets on the male winner, the female winner and who could be the surprise participants in both the 30-wrestler matches – including some huge blasts from the pasts, and even some streamers.
Speed Vs Cenat
As well as Cena, Rollins and Punk, other confirmed entrants are Logan Paul, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Penta, Chad Gable, Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes.
Paul started life as an influencer before becoming a boxer, and streamers iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat look set to join him at this weekend’s Rumble.
Cenat and Speed are 1/3 favourites to take part in Saturday’s Rumble, where they could face a woman in the men’s division.
Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to land the Women’s World Championship in early January, and then saw off Nia Jax to retain the title.
Ripley is 6/4 to do so, a shorter price than the likes of Joe Hendry (13/8) and Randy Orton (15/8).
Is Bella Back?
Recent reports have also suggested WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella could be set for a shock comeback at Royal Rumble.
She is just Evens to return to the ring in Saturday’s Rumble, while AJ Lee – CM Punk’s other half – is a 6/1 chance.
What’s more, Alexa Bliss is an 8/1 outsider to take part in the women’s Rumble following reports of a potential contract standstill.
Despite this, Bliss is still 28/1 to win the upcoming event and as short as 9/1.
However, Asuka – who is a 28/1 outsider for Rumble victory – looks set to miss out on the spectacle due to injury, but there is a chance she could still compete.
She is propping up the surprise female entrants market at 10/1.
Can The Rock Smell Victory?
The Rock is just 8/11 to enter this year’s Royal Rumble, with some fans keen to see him take Reigns out of the ring.
Bookmakers clearly think there is a strong chance he will take part in Saturday’s event, as The Rock is a 20/1 outsider to win the event, the same price as Orton.
What’s more, Brock Lesnar is a long shot to appear in the WWE ring this Saturday, and he’s 40/1 for Royal Rumble victory, but just 14/1 with some bookies.
Cena heads the outright market at 6/4, but CM Punk isn’t far behind at 7/4.
If Reigns can avoid a Rock elimination then the 5/1 on him to win the whole thing could be worth a go, while Seth Rollins is 6/1.
It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Goldberg rock up to Rumble either.
Da Man’s retirement match is expected to take place later this year, and he is just 2/1 to reappear this weekend.
However, he is a 100/1 outsider for Royal Rumble victory.
Charlotte To Show Her Rumble Flair
In the women’s event, Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, Bayley, Naomi, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have all confirmed their appearances, joining Lyra Valkyria, Ivy Nile and Iyo Sky, who were recently announced on Monday night’s Raw.
Flair heads into the event as the 8/11 favourite to win the women’s Rumble, followed by 10/3 second favourite.
She is just 5/1 to win this Saturday’s Rumble, but she is yet to confirm her appearance.
Lynch is 4/5 favourite to be one of the surprise entrants, though, and Jade Cargill (11/8) and Jordynne Grace (13/8) aren’t far behind in the market.
Cargill is a 10/1 chance to win the whole thing, while Grace is a 12/1 shot.
