Views from the Bar

On Friday 1st May the Masons Arms played host to two great live bands . The evening was opened with a bluesy rock set from ‘The Square Pegs’ and they were followed by a live set from ‘Fighting Fifth Husky’ who describe themselves as playing sleazy, punk, funk randomness!!!

Here’s what some people at the venue thought of the bands…..

The Square Pegs

‘I f***ing love this band’ Keith Ryan

‘ Iam in crazy  blues heaven’ Rich Grinter

‘ The guitar playing is really good’ Andy Scriven’

‘ Very good band. Good blues music.’ Kieran Kiely

Fighting Fifth Husky

It was brilliant especially that song ‘Go with the Flow. It was awesome’. Chris Williams

‘ I enjoyed it so much that I could not  go out for a fag’. Laura P.

‘ Easy listening music. Epic!’ Loz Eynon

God Damn was extremely catchy with great hook lines. No Funky town-  keeping  classic ‘Donkey Punch’ alive. Trudi G
