11297672_10155607158935697_443840488_nGood evening everyone! My name is Abi and I’m your new weather girl! Fantastic. I’m 22, if you get me talking about films or music I probably won’t stop. I am a strong believer of PMA (positive mental attitude) and in love with nature.

I have just moved down from Buckinghamshire in England and currently living in the centre of Llanelli. The Costa’s here are worth the money you pay; there’s car parking spaces everywhere; it might be a pain to you but I think it’s a fantastic idea to pay for carrier bags; free prescriptions! I can’t wait to travel more outside to check out the music scene.

I think that covers about me!

Writing has been a recent development; I first started my blog to make a stamp on my new beginning down here and to have a log of my adventures. I’m learning a different way of life and it really is something you shouldn’t take for granted.

Wales is a really beautiful place, I have only been to a few different areas so far but it is wonderful. Personally it’s not as advanced as England but I don’t think this is a bad thing at all. Trust me, this is so much more pleasant than areas of London. There is everything you need to have in this small town and everyone has been super friendly so far so thank you for welcoming me here.

This place is really clean but I have yet to see the “rough” parts, however for now I’ll just concentrate on delivering you guys a weekly weather update and tell you my adventures around here and hopefully suggest places to go and things to do on a sunny day. You can always read my personal blog on a rainy day!

Well when it rains it pours here doesn’t it?! I’d normally brave it to the local offy if it’s spitting back home but I wouldn’t cross the road to get to the one here, frightened of being carried away by the wind! A little shower her the equivalent of a December rainy day.

I was so happy to see the sun on Tuesday, after I had finished editing my blog I decided I had to go out. I thought Id head up to Burry Port with my plastic container for seashells and catch a few rays. What I always forget and hopefully will remember as time goes on here is that The sun doesn’t mean it’s going outside weather.

This is madness! I received a full body (including eyes) “sandstorm” exfoliate, I shall call it, and a blissful “ice freeze” foot soak from the sea. However despite my new “dragged through a bush backwards” hair do and flushed skin, it was wonderful to be outside by the sea. Also stopping off at a “Jenkins” – to which I’d never heard of before – and had one of the best pasties ever. Couldn’t really go wrong with the day, then to sit in the garden when I came home to have a read of “The Secret” just to lift my spirits higher!

For the weekend we are looking at another sunny day tomorrow, highest temps at 16 degrees between 1600 and 2000 – sun setting at 9pm. Perfect amount of time to sit in the pub garden enjoying your end of work week drink. Saturday between 0900 and 1300 we’re reaching 19 degrees, so I’d get out early if you want to top up your tan! Between 1300 and 1900 we’ll be going from 19 degrees down to 16 degrees and a mild evening with a sunset at 10pm. Sunday we’re looking at a warm morning starting from 1000 at 13 degrees going up to 15 degrees by 1300 and through to 1900. Sun is setting at 2130 just in time to take a dip in the bath and have a sleep ready for work on Monday.

Have a lovely weekend everyone, enjoy!
