On Friday 14 June 2019 at the Selwyn Samuel Centre Llanelli Plaid Cymru held their hustings meeting to appoint a candidate for the next General Election.
Carl Harries Head of Strategy for Plaid Cymru acted as the Nominated Officer for the event and Plaid Cymru Llanelli Constituency are proud to announce that Mari Arthur from Trimsaran was unanimously appointed as candidate.
Mari Arthur works as the Director of Cynnal Cymru and sits on numerous boards and partnership including Ynni Sir Gar, the Assembly’s Environmental Partnership and a School Governor for Stebonheath School Llanelli. A welsh speaker who has strong community roots and who has committed herself for the communities of Llanelli and the surrounding area.
