Meet the Worker

Communities First Llwynhendy organised a ‘Meet The Worker’ Event in Brynteg School last Thursday. 

The event involved various ‘workers’ meeting with Yrs 5 and 6, and giving the children the opportunity to ask what ever questions they liked about the job. 

Workers who attended included Llanellitown.com, a local builder, Jobcentreplus, a hairdresser, local police team, Action For Children, Communities First Llwynhendy,  and also Fit4Fun.

Development Officer, Gillian Handscomb said:

‘This was a very successful event, something which has not been done before.”

“I would like to say a huge thank you to the workers for giving up their valuable time to attend this event, and also to the children and staff of Brynteg School for taking part”.
