The young voices of Llanelli’s Hywel Girls’ Choir & Hywel Boy Singers will be heading for the bright lights of London this weekend as they fly the flag for Wales as special guests at the London Welsh St. David’s Day Concert. (Saturday 2nd March 2013)

Joining BBC Newsreader and London Welsh President Huw Edwards, the choristers will excite London audiences with a journey of song including welsh favourites, sacred moments, international folk, a taste of Hollywood and a grand finale of ‘Hope, Dreams and Love.’

The Hywel Choir has happy memories of performing at the London Welsh St. David’s Day Concerts, performing on three occasions at the Royal Albert Hall. The young choristers freshly return from filming with S4C and national audiences will be able to see and hear the choir’s next television appearance on the Easter Special programme of S4C’s flagship programme, Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol.
