A man has died following a fire at a house in Heol Dinbych, Penyfan, Llanelli.
Emergency services were called to Heol Dinbych at 16:45 yesterday (Thursday) and found the man in the house but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Formal identification has yet to take place and inquiries are being made to trace his next of kin.
Dyfed-Powys Police along with Mid and West Fire Service have launched an investigation to find out the cause of the blaze and the road is still closed whilst this continues.
