Why Vote?
Help me find the remote, there’s debates on TV,
Politics and democracy, they mean nothing to me.
No change was made by one vote on its own,
No care for me has any politician shown.
How wrong could you be,
If that’s your mentality,
Have you ever even listened to what they have to say?
Realised its your future they are fighting for each day?
They’re talking about you, listen to what they say,
They’re aiming to make tomorrow a much brighter day.
Your life is in your hands, don’t pass it by,
Don’t start to question ‘Well, what if I …’
One vote could tip the ballot,
could change your life forever,
Take a minute and vote,
We’re all in this together.
