An art exhibition with a difference has gone on display at Pembroke Dock library.

The showcase features the work of students attending Learning Pembrokeshire art classes at the Pembroke Dock Community Centre.

The adult learners have been tutored in various genres including  pencils, oils and watercolours over the past year.

The summer exhibition, which runs throughout June, was opened by Councillor Sue Perkins, Cabinet member for Education on June 3rd.

“This is our annual celebration of the learning and skills which students have acquired by attending these classes,” she said.

“It’s a testament to their hard work and the skills and effort of their teacher.”

Learning Pembrokeshire is Pembrokeshire County Council’s adult Learning service. Anyone wishing to know more about the courses on offer should contact 01437 770170 or log onto www.pembrokeshire.gob.uk/learning
