Dyfed Powys Police can confirm the remains located at a property at Pleasant View, Felinfoel, Llanelli, are believed to be of a Polish man.
Identity has not been confirmed at this time.
Police officers are now speaking to the Polish community in the town as part of their enquiries.
A murder investigation was launched yesterday (Wednesday, November 11) following reports of an incident at Pleasant View.
Two men and a woman remain in police custody.
