Llanelli Library has organised fun to brighten up September by continuing the celebrations to mark the centenary of author Roald Dahl’s birth.

There will be a mini hunt to find the Peach from James and the Giant Peach, which will run through September. This competition is being run to celebrate Roald Dahl’s birthday, September 13, and to tie into the end of the Summer Reading Challenge, which this year was the Big Friendly Read.

Children are being encouraged to search the library to find the peach and be entered into a prize draw to win some fantastic Roald Dahl prizes. This competition is open to any existing or new members of the library (aged 12 and under).  The competition will run until September 30.

Keep up to date with all the activities going on at Carmarthenshire libraries by visiting Carmarthenshire Libraries’ Facebook & Twitter.
