NSPCC Cymru/Wales comment on sentencing of Owain Thomas

An NSPCC Cymru/Wales spokesperson said: “Thomas used an online platform popular with children to target his young victims again and again.

 “This appalling case shows once again the grave and increasing dangers that children face online and highlights the need for urgent action.

 “Tech firms should improve their safety features to prevent children being groomed or exposed to harmful content, while the UK Government must legislate to ensure young people are kept safe in the digital world.”
