CETMA is inviting local residents to stay warm, connected, and supported this winter with the launch of its Winter Warm Hubs. Starting Tuesday, 11th November 2025, the hubs will run every Tuesday to Thursday from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at CETMA Llanelli, offering a safe, inclusive space for people to access essential services, enjoy creative activities, and connect with others.

This initiative is part of CETMA’s broader mission to tackle social isolation, digital exclusion, and health inequalities in West Wales. The hubs are open to all — no booking required — and include refreshments, friendly faces, and a warm welcome.

Weekly Schedule Highlights:

•  Tuesdays: Digital Inclusion — help with smartphones, tablets, emails, and online services.

•  Wednesdays: Rotating themes:

  ◦  Week 1: Community Support

  ◦  Week 2: Type 2 Diabetes Awareness

  ◦  Week 3: Community Support (continued)

  ◦  Week 4: Type 2 Diabetes (continued)

•  Thursdays: Arts and Crafts — creative sessions to boost wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

The hubs will close for the festive season from 22nd December 2025 to 5th January 2026, resuming in the new year.

Keith Evans-Hurley, Director of CETMA, said:

“We know winter can be tough — emotionally, physically, and financially. Our Winter Warm Hubs are here to offer comfort, connection, and practical help. Whether you need digital support, health advice, or just a friendly chat, you’ll find it here.”

  1. CETMA Llanelli still don’t understand why the Council can’t do what Cetma are doing themselves, when they are funding it ???????? Seems strange

  2. CETMA Llanelli Why don’t the council do it themselves? Seems like wasting taxpayers money? Like the Recycling centre which they own and the called it Cwm Environmental and set up as a separate company but council owned and run? Why not Carmarthenshire council Environmental? And the ETO shops also owned by the Council, all this wasted money using different names but owning or funding them all?

  3. CETMA Llanelli Well half your funding is from Carmarthenshire County Council ( via us taxpayers) wouldn’t it be better to have an office in the hub it our quiet town centre wich needs more footfall or our spacious Library to save all the costs of heating etc and you would be in a better location to serve the community ❤️❤️❤️
