CETMA, in partnership with The Llanelli Standard and PBP Foodbank have launched their much loved Christmas campaign.  #feedafamily4xmasday provides people in need with a 3 course Christmas dinner hamper which also includes snacks, treats and drinks for the day.

This year, the campaign is kindly sponsored by Dandara Builders, Gravells in Kidwelly and the CO-OP.  The campaign also helps to promote Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA) who specialise in supporting veterans.

Orianna Evans campaign Co-ordinator has said:

“We know Christmas is hard for a lot of people, the pressure to provide the ‘perfect’ Christmas is more than ever before. After buying presents and things like that we know the food is difficult for people to buy, we started this campaign 6 years ago and continue to do it because we believe that everyone should be able to sit down on Christmas day and celebrate with a meal.”

“We are so incredibly grateful for our sponsors this year, we would not be able to do this campaign without their support.”

People can find out more information on the sponsors from:

If you are a veteran who needs support from the campaign you can contact SSAFA and they can refer you to us.”

“Please do not feel shy or ashamed in approaching us for help, we are here to help you, whether you are a family of 7 or on your own we want to help you in any way we can. There will never be any judgment from any member of our wonderful team.”

  1. Six years running—what an impressive commitment to helping local families. It’s inspiring to see a campaign that brings the community together for such a meaningful cause. I wonder how the partnership has evolved over the years?
