Top 10 Most Expensive Luxury 5* UK Hotels for Valentines

· Hotel 41 in London, is the most expensive luxury 5* hotel in the UK at £1,965 a night for two

· Le Manoir Aux Quat ’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel is priced at £1,515 for the night, placing it second in the ranking

· ‘The Ritz’ for one night is expected to cost £1,294 for two, making it the third most expensive hotel in the UK.

New research has found the top ten most expensive luxury UK hotels, to stay at for this Valentine’s weekend. A recent study by luxury experts, Instrument furniture analysed 106 five-star UK hotels that are listed as ‘luxury’ on TripAdvisor, to reveal how much a couple could spend for one night’s stay in the UK’s most lavish accommodations on the 12th of February, for Valentine’s weekend.

Placing first as the costliest place for the night is ‘Hotel 41’, located on Buckingham Palace Road. A night here in the heart of London could cost two adults £1,965. The rooms come equipped with lavish linens, a Savoir bed, Marble bathrooms, and a Nespresso Machine.

‘Le Manoir Aux Quat ’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel’ based in the county of Oxfordshire ranks second, costing £1,515 for the night. With a variety of facilities from cooking classes, along with activities around Oxford being only 30 minutes from city centre.

Established in 1906, and famously known for its Hollywood history, the third in the category is ‘The Ritz’ at £1,294 a night. Located in Piccadilly, London there are a variety of experiences a couple can expect to fill their day from a West-End show to tourist attractions such as the London Eye.

Located in Bath, ‘The Royal Cresent Hotel & Spa’ takes fourth spot, two guests at the hotel can look to pay £1,195 for the night. The hotel offers a spa treatment and fitness facilities, whilst a couple could venture out and visit the Roman Baths or Museums during their stay.

Fifth place is ‘The Savoy’ in London, at £1,045 for two adults and one night. Famously known for the Savoy theatre, the hotel would be an idyllic location for a city break over Valentine with a West-End show to accompany the evening.

‘Cheval Gloucester Park’ in Kensington, London ranks sixth at £960 for the night. Following in seventh is one of the three Dorchester collection hotels in the UK ‘45 Park Lane – Dorchester Collection’ priced at £955 based in London. ‘Coworth Park – Dorchester Collection’ takes tenth located in Ascot, Berkshire.

‘Bulgari Hotel London’ saw eighth at £947 for the night, with more than 540 TripAdvisor reviews. The hotel is equipped with an indoor pool, spa and fitness facilities. Located in Knightsbridge, the Bulgari hotel sits by Hyde Park and luxury retailers such as Harrods and Harvey Nichols.

Ninth is ‘Cliveden House’ for one night stay, where a couple could expect to pay at £945.

Commenting on their findings, a spokesperson from Instrument said “With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it is fascinating to see what higher tier hotels have to offer for a break for two, with facilities ranging from indoor pools and spa treatments to picturesque locations. It’s also fascinating to see how a hotel’s history and glamour can add to its appeal, with places like The Ritz and The Savoy giving visitors an unforgettable experience that few other hotels can match.”
