A SERIES of family fun days are being held at the council’s Integrated Children’s Centres in Llanelli during half term week.

There’ll be arts and crafts, face painting, games and more as staff welcome new and old faces to the centres to show them the facilities on offer.

Sticking to a Welsh theme, there will be Cawl and Welsh cakes at the fun days, which will be held from 10am-2pm at Felinfoel ICC on Tuesday (February 25); Llwynhendy ICC on Wednesday (February 26); and Morfa ICC on Friday (February 27).

Integrated Children’s Centres provide key links and support for children and parents from early years, providing a range of support services to help families to function together and engage with others.

Cllr Keith Davies, Executive Board Member for Education and Children’s Services, said: “This is a great way for parents and children to get to know their local Integrated Children’s Centre and find out what kind of support and friendship they can offer.”
