Local MP Nia Griffiths Visits Llanelli Sea Cadets

 

The town’s MP Nia Griffith paid a visit to the cadets’ Embankment Road HQ last month, where she was given a guided tour before presenting the youngsters with various awards.

 

She said: “I was very impressed by the real commitment from both the cadets and their officers and by the high standards that they achieve in activities ranging from ropework to canoeing. It was a real pleasure to see them at work and present them with certificates.

“All this would not be possible without the very considerable fund-raising efforts from the cadets, the officers and their supporters.”
