Dyfed Powys Police confirm that they have charged a 35 year old male with manslaughter following a lengthy investigation into the death of Mr Roy Taylor.
Mr Taylor was aged 69yrs, of Penygroes, Ammanford and was assaulted outside the Miners Welfare Club, Ammanford on Monday 20th August 2012 at 9pm.
Following the incident Mr Taylor was conveyed to West Wales General Hospital Carmarthen, where he remained in intensive care until his death on 29th August 2012.
The 35 year old local male has been released on conditional bail pending his first court appearance at Llanelli on Thursday 9th May 2013.
