Friday 4th April saw the Masons Arms packed to the rafters with people  who all came out to see Eleven ( Ellven) and the System Of A Down Tribute band

HERE’S  Barry Bungalow’s views of the night………..

Eleven ( E11ven) – a brilliant sound for an opening band.

A 4 piece band that played an amazing opening song to a crowd that was bouncing, at least within the small amount of space that was available to bounce. The quality of their sound was evident throughout their entire set. E11ven  played  a set of both original and covers, which went down amazingly well with the crowd. The band members ability to go from a melodic style of singing to an aggressive style, and back again, was very impressive  and spot on .

Eleven ( E11VEN)

The System Of A Down  band put on  an  energetic amazing set , and the whole crowd sung along with the songs. The band played  a mix of System of A Down’s heavier records as well as their more mellow music, providing a great variation within their set. A great performance  which could even be heard  from the back door of the smoking area at the pub,  and  passers-by were observed  attempting to get in convinced that it was the  real System of A Down playing.  This  in my eyes, is the highest compliment any cover band could get.   I was unable to ask the crowd what they thought of the band during the performance, as they were all singing along with the band, but the response I got from the crowd  following the gig was nothing beyond unbelievably positive, all of whom are  massively looking forward to the System of A Down Tribute Band’s  next performance …
