Continuing the beginners guide to all this Star Wars, this week we look at the evil Sith.
Who are the Sith?
The Sith are enemies of the Jedi, a Kratocratic organisation created by Darth Bane, after the destruction of the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness dynasty that had lasted for 1,000 years and ended with emperor Palpatine. They are also primary recurring antagonistic and dedicated to the Dark Side of the Force.
They tend to embrace passion which they believe to be a powerful aspect to nature. Their primary passions were Anger, Hatred and Fear which the Sith believed should be harnessed to make them more powerful than the Jedi.
The code of the Sith:
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
The Force shall free me.
