Police in Carmarthenshire are appealing for witnesses or information about a series of thefts from telephone kiosks that have occurred in the county.
Since December there have been four thefts from BT phone boxes – two in Llanelli and two in Carmarthen.
In all incidents the glass of the kiosk has been painted to obscure the view inside and the money contained within them taken.
A Police spokesperson said: “We believe these four crimes have been committed by the same person or persons and want to catch whoever is responsible. I urge anyone who witnessed a theft from a telephone kiosk, anyone who has information about these incidents, or anyone who notices the glass of a kiosk painted, to contact police in Carmarthenshire by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
