Chewbacca AKA Chewie is what’s known as a Wookie, Standing at 8ft tall and 200 years of age. His home planet is names Kashyyyk. He was taken from his home after the Empire came into play and was saved by Han Solo who was a cadet and was kicked out after saving Chewie from certain death. They both became smugglers and Chewie has sworn to protect him with his life ever since.
