- The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning of rain
Isolated severe thunderstorms are likely to develop overnight Thursday into Friday bringing the risk of torrential downpours through Friday. These will be succeeded by a band of more widespread heavy rain and occasional thunderstorms, moving gradually north later on Friday and into Saturday.
There is a chance of some very localised significant disruption, mainly from surface water flooding. Lightning and hail also possible.
