Businesses in Neath Town Centre have voted in favour of a scheme that aims to deliver an additional £500,000 funding for town centre improvements over the next five years.
Businesses have backed the plan to set-up a Neath Business Improvement District (BID), after voting for the past month.
64% of businesses who voted supported establishing a BID in the town centre, and the votes in favour represented 70% of the rateable value of all business properties in the town.
