HOPEmalawiUK will launch their Bin Your Boots campaign at Parc y Scarlets on Friday 12th February, ahead of Scarlets’ Guinness PRO12 clash against Edinburgh.

HOPEmalawiUK’s Bin Your Boots campaign is part of the organisation’s wider Sports Programme.

Since its inception in 2012 HOPEmalawi’s Sports Programme has flourished. Young people in Nkhata Bay relish the opportunity to play sport and be part of a team.

Over the years supporters have helped provide sports fit but boots are always a problem! Most people have to play barefoot and the few boots around are share amongst the teams.

This is where you come in! If you have a pair of rugby (or football) boots but don’t need them anymore please donate to the Bin Your Boots campaign and bring them along to the collection point in the West Stand, Parc y Scarlets, on Friday 12th February?

Why not start collecting in work or school or amongst your teammates?

HOPEmalawiUK started when a bunch of friends decided to try to make a difference for the people of Nkhata Bay, Malawi. The organisation was inspired by Hope Malawi, an organization run by a group of people from Nkhata Bay in Malawi who are committed to promoting community led, sustainable development projects in the area.
