Police Appeal:

South Wales Police are investigating an attempted robbery in the Penlan area of Swansea. They’re appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.

A man in his sixties reported being approached by the unknown male as he walked near the side of the Corracle Public House on Conway Road at approximately 7.45pm on Saturday, October the 6th.

His attacker, who had come from the direction of Clwyd Road, then demanded money before fleeing back in the same direction when the victim refused.

The suspect is described as white, around 17 years old, approximately 5ft tall and of slim build. He had short dark hair with a widows peak (v-shaped hairline), and was wearing a dark tracksuit top with stripes along the arms, grey bottoms with black stripes and white trainers. He also had a local accent.

Anyone who believes they may have witnessed the incident, or suspect before or afterwards, is asked to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1800382224.
