Arts Council of Wales’s Council of Trustees – Recruiting New Members.

Do you believe that everybody in Wales should have the chance to experience the arts?

Help the Welsh Government to create an exciting and diverse culture by putting your name forward to be on the Arts Council of Wales’s Council of Trustees.

All public bodies should represent different communities and lifestyles so they can understand the people of Wales and make better decisions.

Applications are particularly welcome from under-represented people. These can include:

· Women

· Young people under 30-years-old

· People from ethnic minorities

· Disabled people

· Lesbian, gay, bisexual people

· Trans people

The position will be for three years and you will be asked to spend 1.5 days a month doing Council work such as going to meetings in different parts of Wales. These posts are unpaid but there will be money to pay for the cost of travel, meals and overnight stays.

The closing date to apply is 22 November 2018.
