Appeal for information – Burglary, Old St Mellons

Detectives in Cardiff are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Old St Mellons (Saturday, July 28).

Three men were captured on CCTV targeting the address on Began Road between 4.38pm and 4.53pm, having arrived at the property in a black Honda Civic, registration SE54 AGX.

After smashing a patio door at the rear of the address, the three helped themselves to jewellery, designer handbags and car keys and a black Range Rover – registration LM68 JWP.

The Honda Civic has since been located abandoned and damaged in Ely.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify the three suspects and trace the stolen items.

Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the incident, or who has seen either vehicle being driven is asked to contact 101, quoting occurrence 1900275247.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who believes they know the identity of any of the burglars.
