South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision involving a grey Nissan Micra and a Black Audi A3 which occurred on Cowbridge Road West junction with Hillsnook Road, ELY, CARDIFF. The incident took place at approximately 14.40 hours on Friday 16th August 2019.
The driver of the Nissan Micra was conveyed to the University Hospital of Wales, but has subsequently died.
Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by a Police family liaison officer.
South Wales Police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision or who stopped to provide assistance who have not yet have given their details.
