A public drop-in session is being held for patients of Mariners Surgery, a branch of Meddygfa Minafon, to gather the views of local residents and other stakeholders on the future of these services.
The event will be held on Tuesday 15 October at Three Rivers Hotel, Poachers Rest, Ferryside and residents are invited to drop in at any time between 2pm and 7pm.
This event is an opportunity for patients and stakeholders to call in to talk to health board staff and the Community Health Council about their views.
Alternatively you can feedback your views by:
- Telephone – 0300 0200 159
- Email – HDUHB.GMS.hdd@wales.nhs.uk
- Post – Hywel Dda University Health Board, FREEPOST, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, SA61 1BR
All feedback will be collated and shared with the Community Health Council, and will form part of our review of the future of these services.
Jill Paterson, Director of Primary Care at Hywel Dda, said: “As a Health Board we are committed to listening to and engaging with local populations around our proposals to relocate our Primary Care services from Mariners Surgery to neighbouring surgeries and we would therefore like to invite residents to come along and get involved in the conversation.
“Following a review of how services are used by patients at the surgery, it is becoming clear that these services are limited and not fully utilised and could be relocated to Minafon and Trimsaran Surgeries.”
Patients are reminded that services are also available through local community pharmacies who offer a range of expert services. Find out more here:
