CETMA’s Surplus Food Llanelli Emergency Food bank has been helping vulnerable families and individuals for several months and are now proud to be able to say that we are helping Clwb Rygbi Yr Hendy in their endeavours to make hot meals and distribute them out to those in their community that are in need of their help.

Vikki Carrott, Foodbank Team Leader said:

“In a short amount of time the numbers of people they have had requests to help has steadily increased and we are very happy to be able to help supply as much as we can from the very kind and invaluable donations we receive from both local companies and individuals.”

“We hope to continue helping Clwb Rygbi Yr Hendy however we can.” Added Vikki

Hendy RFC have set up a Go Fund me page to help raise funds, you can access it here https://www.gofundme.com/f/feeding-the-community-amp-local-area

Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Annemarie Thomas said:

“Our thanks for the food donations we have been receiving from you.  Without donations like these, from business and the community, we would not be able to feed those in need in the local area in the quantities and frequency that we are doing.”

You can contact The Foodbank in private on or email surplus@cetma.org.  You can also visit: https://www.facebook.com/surplusfoodllanelli/

Since it began, Surplus Food Llanelli’s Emergency Foodbank has been able to help more than 500 families and vulnerable individuals in Llanelli, by providing much needed food parcels.
