LBC is tonight (December 10) reporting that a second “firebreak” lockdown may be imposed on December 28 – or that a series of four tiers of restrictions, reviewed every three weeks, will be – to curb reported rising cases of Covid-19 infection.

The Shadow Health Minister, Andrew RT Davies, reacted, saying:

“it’s a shame that such significant news that will have a massive impact on people’s lives is been leaked to the media tonight by the Welsh Labour-led Government.

“Wales continues to face an extremely serious situation, made worse by the poor political decisions that the Labour administration has made this Autumn and Winter.

“However, as Welsh Conservatives, we stand ready to work across party lines to address this national emergency.”
