NHSBT: Organ Donation Week 2022 – postponed

Dear all,

We were sad to learn yesterday of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and our thoughts are with the Royal Family.

Due to the likely timings of the State Funeral and the mourning period for the late Queen, we are postponing our Organ Donation Week campaign which was due to take place 19^th to 25^th September.

We know that many people will have put a huge amount of work into planning activity for this very important calendar moment for organ and tissue donation. We want to make sure that we can make the most of our collective efforts, by rescheduling to another date.

We are working urgently to establish a new date, in agreement with the Health Departments, and we hope to bring this to you shortly.
