The wife of BBC newsreader Huw Edwards has this evening named Huw as the presenter who has become embroiled in the sexual images scandal.
Vicky Flind, has said that she is very concerned about Huw’s mental wellbeing and has concerns for the children.
The allegations were brought to light by tabloid newspaper The Sun and caused much speculation which saw a host of BBC presenters declaring it wasn’t them.
So far, the met police have said that no criminal offences have taken place..
Vicky says that husband Huw is in hospital with serious mental health issues.
Originally a parent of a young person approached the Sun to provide the story to the newspaper.
However, the young person’s solicitor has since denied the accusations in the newspaper, but now two more people have come forward.
At this moment, we will respect Huw and his family’s privacy whilst investigations are ongoing.
