Customers at The York Palace in Llanelli will be able to toast St David’s Day with a selection of Welsh craft beers, ale and spirits.

 The pub in Stepney Street will be serving the drinks at value-for-money prices on Saturday 1 March.

 The drinks on offer are: Purple Moose Brewery’s Calon Lân Ale (4.0% ABV) at £1.69 at pint, AU Vodka (four flavours available including strawberry burst and blue raspberry, 25ml including mixer costs £1.99), Penderyn whisky (25ml including mixer costs £2.99) and Brecon special reserve gin (25ml including mixer costs £2.99). 

The Welsh craft beer cans (440ml), all on offer priced at £2.99, are: Purple Moose High Hops Tropical IPA (5.4% ABV), Tenby Son of a Beach Tropical pale (4.2% ABV) and Glamorgan Dead Canary West coast IPA (5.0% ABV).

 Pub manager Nicole Dowell said: “We are proud to serve a range of craft beers, ales and spirits produced in Wales.

 “It is great to showcase these excellent products and offer our customers the opportunity to support Welsh brewers and producers.”
