Carmarthenshire County Council is looking for help to identify an individual caught failing to clear up their dog’s faeces in Llanelli.

Images captured on CCTV show the incident taking place on Clifton Terrace in Llanelli.

It is hoped that residents may be able to assist in identifying the individual.

Cllr Aled Vaughan Owen, Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Decarbonisation and Sustainability said:

Following previous success, we are again asking for help from members of the public to identify an individual captured on CCTV failing to clean up after their dog.ā€ā€œOur Environment Enforcement team works to tackle environmental offences throughout Carmarthenshire. I urge the small minority of dog owners who fail to clean up after their dog to change their behaviour.ā€

  1. It’s frustrating to see ongoing issues like dog fouling still affecting our communities—it’s not just unpleasant,it creates health risks too. Hopefully, more people will start to take responsibility, but it’s good to see the council actively addressing it and involving the public in identifying offenders.
