Police Discover Over £10,000 Worth Of Cocaine Following Successful Llanelli Drugs Raid

Officers have taken more than £10,000 worth of cocaine off the streets following a successful drugs warrant at a Llanelli home.

Andrew Kane Rees, aged 25, has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, being concerned in the supply of class A and B drugs, and possessing criminal property. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on September 1.

A search was carried out at Rees’s house in Dilwyn Street at around 5pm on Thursday, July 31, where a small bag of cocaine was seized, as well as quantity of cannabis. Cash, weighing scales and paraphernalia associated with the supply of drugs was also recovered. Further enquiries led to a bag of white powder, confirmed to contain nearly 140 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of between £10,900 and £13,600, being seized.
