In celebration of Adult Learners’ Week, Caerphilly Adult Community Learning is inviting people to continue their learning journey by joining an Open Day on Saturday 20th September 2025 from 10am to 2pm at Oxford House Adult Education Centre, Risca, NP11 6GN. The event is free and open to all adults who live or work in the borough.
Visitors will have the chance to try a range of hands on activities and speak to tutors about courses starting this autumn. Activities include environmental awareness with Wildspaces, outdoor cooking with Multiply, Lego STEM activities, recycled crafts and an exhibition of artwork created by local learners. Free tea and cake will be available.
The Open Day is part of Adult Learners’ Week 2025 celebrations, which runs from 15th to 21st September and celebrates the benefits of lifelong learning for wellbeing and careers.
