Small local businesses will once again have the chance to shine on the high street this December, as Carmarthenshire County Council brings festive 100% Sir Gâr pop-up shops to Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford.

For three weeks in the run-up to Christmas, shoppers can discover a wonderful range of artisan gifts, handmade decorations, locally sourced food and drink, crafts, fashion, and more; all while supporting local traders and producers.

This exciting initiative forms part of the Council’s 100% Sir Gâr programme and is part-funded by Carmarthenshire County Council and the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.

Cllr Hazel Evans, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Leisure, Culture and Tourism, said:

We are pleased to support small, local businesses with a prime trading location at Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford in the run-up to Christmas.

The local businesses and producers trading from our 100% Sir Gâr Christmas pop-up shops do not usually have the opportunity to showcase their fantastic products on the high street. This is a wonderful chance for everyone to enjoy, experience, and buy locally made products while supporting our local economy.
