Festive afternoon teas are returning to Kerry Vale Vineyard, offering guests a magical way to celebrate the season on the Shropshire-Powys border.

Nestled near Montgomery, the family-run vineyard produces award-winning wines from its 6,500 vines. With a history stretching back to Roman times, the vineyard combines heritage with modern winemaking, creating a unique destination for wine lovers and visitors alike.

During November and December, the vineyard café will be transformed into a cosy haven of festive cheer where guests can indulge in a delicious selection of seasonal treats.

The menu includes freshly baked cranberry and orange scones with clotted cream and marmalade, a variety of delicate sandwiches and savoury parcels with festive fillings and handmade cakes and pastries infused with seasonal flavours.

Guests have a choice of tea, coffee or can upgrade to a glass of mulled wine or the vineyard’s own award winning English sparkling wine.

The popular festive afternoon tea costs ÂŁ30 per person and is available from 12 noon to 2pm  Tuesday to Sunday.

Nadine Roach, the vineyard’s marketing and events manager, said: “Our festive afternoon teas are one of the highlights of the year, bringing together the warmth of the season, the charm of our vineyard and the joy of sharing exceptional food and wine.

“We are delighted to welcome guests to celebrate Christmas with us in such a special setting. The Vineyard Café is a popular destination for afternoon tea and, during the festive period, we take pride in elevating our offerings, creating festive twists on classic treats every year.

“While we enjoy adding a playful touch to our presentations, our top priority is always on always flavour.”

Bookings are now open, with limited availability throughout November and December. Reserve a place a www.bookeo.com/kerryvalevineyard or call 01588 507074.
