As focus turns towards the next round of BKT United Rugby Championship action in Edinburgh, the squad have returned to training.

On Wednesday, with Parc y Scarlets hosting the Castell Howell Food Show, the Scarlets spent the morning at Swansea University, using their 3G surface and sports science facilities.

With eight games remaining in the regular URC season, Scarlets will head to the Scottish capital on February 27 looking to build on their stunning late win over Ulster and gritty draw out in fog-bound Treviso.

While the squad had a down week following a hectic block of fixtures, a number of Scarlets were in Six Nations senior and U20s action last weekend. Prop Alec Hepburn also featured for Scotland A in a drawn match with their Italian counterparts in Rieti.

The Scarlets’ next home URC game is against Zebre Parma on Friday, March 20 – a week after the rescheduled round three clash with Connacht in Galway.
