Carmarthenshire Museums offer a variety of family-friendly experiences this half term. Explore the Museum of Land Speed in Pendine, where the county’s world-famous motoring history comes to life. Visitors can combine some outdoor fun too with a round on the Crazy Golf pitch. On 27 April Babs returns to mark the centenary of J.G. Parry-Thomas’s world land speed record. The free anniversary event begins at 12pm (noon) with Babs expected to complete two demonstration runs along the community-owned section of Pendine beach.

On 4 April Canolfan Pentre Awel will host its first Easter fayre. Experience craft and makers from across Carmarthenshire, a kids Easter Scavenger Hunt, Actif Sport and Leisure’s Family Inflatable Play and Sport Session, giant board games and more!
Carmarthenshire Libraries will host crafts, story time, and creative sessions for young people. Join the Children’s Easter egg hunt at Burry Port Library, or bring the children along to Llanelli library from 9am until 4pm for a cheerful Easter Colouring Day filled with bright colours, friendly faces and plenty of creative fun.
Shop local this Easter and choose fresh produce, handmade goods, and seasonal treats at Carmarthenshire’s vibrant farmers’ markets at Kidwelly and Llandovery on 4 April.
