Launching 1st August until 15th August at the Waterfront Gallery, Milford
Haven is Three Friends: come and see what three friends, three distinct
voices and one enduring friendship have made together.
This exhibition began with an idea from Kitty Parsons, whose irreverent,
gorgeous and wonderfully accessible images have a way of making you
smile.
Caroline met Sian when she offered her a lift to a writers’ workshop in North
Wales – and found in her a frank, open spirit that shines through both her
poetry and her visual art, cutting refreshingly through artistic pretension.
What binds the three of them – Caroline Juler, Kitty Parsons and Sian
Phillips – isn’t just art, but friendship: a shared curiosity about the world
and over a decade of knowing each other’s generous, often wacky, creative
spirits. As Caroline puts it “Mould-breaking matters less now than spending
time with good people who don’t let you take yourself too seriously”.
Opening times: Monday-Saturday, 10.30-4.00pm; Free Entry.
