St Davids’ library will open on Saturday mornings over the school holidays after a campaign to attract volunteers to run the facility on that morning proved successful.

The provision will open between 10 am and 12 pm each Saturday between July 23rd and September 3rd.

Customers can return, borrow, reserve items and use the computer during these hours which is an addition to the City’s library regular opening hours of Tuesdays and Thursdays (10 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 5 pm).

“The volunteer recruitment campaign was a success and hopefully the six week trial will prove a hit with users,” said Pembrokeshire libraries’ Operation Manager North, George Edwards

Anyone wishing to put their name forward to be a volunteer can contact George on 01437 776126 or e-mail george.edwards@pembrokeshire.gov.uk
