Community/Resident Day

COMMUNITIES First areas in Carmarthenshire recently worked in partnership to organise a community/resident day in the Selwyn Samuel Centre in Llanelli.

The day gave service providers such as Collaborative Communities, Tidy Town/Keep Wales Tidy and Housing, as well as various other providers, a chance to meet Communities First groups and residents.

They were able to offer direct support with Community Project, issues or concerns they may have in their community.

Felinfoel Communities First community development officer Gaynor Price said: “Residents and groups that attended found the day informative and gained useful information to help progress their communities in the future.”
