REDS BACK RED CARD CAMPAIGN

50 young people from Bryn Primary school attended Stebonheath Park, the home of the Reds, for an event in Llanelli this week.

The event started with an anti racism workshop delivered by ex-professional footballer Christian Roberts, Welsh education co-ordinator Simon Richards and Sessional worker Chris Stoakes.
The young people learned about what forms of racism exist and what are stereotypes taking part in interactive games exploring these key messages.
The main event consisted of the young people watching the campaigns DVD while continuing to think of questions to ask the panel of guests for the Q and A session.
Llanelli AFC goal keeper Craig Richards joined Christian Roberts on the panel to answer questions from the young people.
Pupils Parys Tomlinson, Sean Davies and Mohammad Ali won prizes for their questions asked that included Llanelli AFC merchandise and Show Racism the Red Card goodies.
