Unlock Democracy were kind enought to send us this request for public help. A storm is brewing, and there’s a new expenses scandal on the horizon. Speaker John Bercow is trying to block the disclosure of information naming MPs letting their taxpayer-funded homes, then renting another on expenses. It’s like nothing has changed since 2009.
Unlock Democracy have written John Bercow a letter urging him to agree to the release of this information to prove things are different now. I’ve co-signed it, and I’m emailing you to ask to do the same. The link to the letter is here, and it only takes a minute!
