The Big Day Out is a great opportunity for family fun – both for those who dress up for the Mardi Gras Parade and those who watch the colourful spectacle make its way through the streets to the Recreation Ground. Large crowds are expected along the route.

Pantglas World of Nature will be providing a Bird of Prey Display, Pendine Outdoors will be providing a climbing wall, and S4C Characters Bert and Francis will be attending. Ammanford Silver band is taking part in the parade and performing on the field.
Sports Marquee and taster sessions will include: 1-2pm, Mercedes Peynado and Llandybie RFC and Ammanford RFC; 2-2.30pm, Martial Arts and Hockey; 2.30-3pm, Footloose Dance and Penybanc Panthers Rugby; 3-3.30pm, Pantglas World of Nature – Bird of Prey display and Llandybie Tennis Club; 3.30-4pm, Mercedes Peynado Children’s and Glynhir Golf Club.
The Parade leaves the Bowls Club at 12.30pm, Iscennen Road, Town Hall, College Street, Wind Street, and back to Recreation ground at 1pm.
