Police in Llanelli are continuing to search for missing 25 year old, Richard Thomas Chandler. Richard could be anywhere, and we are now appealing to residents in the Llanelli area to check their gardens and outbuildings.
Richard is from Kettering, Northants but is currently working on a roofing contract in the Trostre area, and has been in the Llanelli area for the past three weeks. During this time he has been staying in the Miramar hotel in Station Road Llanelli on weekdays, and then travelling home to Kettering on weekends.
He was last seen by his colleagues at approximately 23:00 on Thursday 3 July, and was also seen walking along New Dock Road in the direction of Machynys at 23:54 – but he has not been seen, or heard from since. This is out of character for him.
We thank the community for their co-operation and assistance during the increased police presence and activity in the area whilst searches and enquiries continue to find Richard.
Richard is described as approx 5’8’’ tall, of stocky build, has auburn/dark hair, and he was wearing a grey Adidas hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms with red “V” on the back pockets and black and light blue trainers.
