A Llanelli woman has been fined £200 by Carmarthen Magistrates for flicking her cigarette butt on the floor.
Sian Louise Williams was also ordered to pay £199.30 costs and a £20 surcharge. She was found guilty in her absence.
Rhian Young, prosecuting on behalf of Carmarthenshire County Council, said that environmental officers were on duty at McDonalds, Cross Hands, and saw the incident.
“They saw a stationary Ford Ka and the driver smoking a cigarette. When she had finished she flicked the butt onto the ground,” she said.
Williams, aged 37, of Heol Daniel, Llanelli, was issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice but did not pay it.
